Erbhof Plaque

Here's a cool piece that you don't see too often. These plaques made of iron were mounted to farm gates showing that the farm was of Aryan heritage and conformed to the Erbhof hereditary law.

Most of these plaques were thrown away by farmers when the GI's came rolloing in at the wars end.

You have a rare piece .My grandfather was a POW and work in a farm in east Germany .He got hurt during the time he work there so they sending back to France.

It's 8"x10" and on the reverse there are 3 counter sunk threaded holes for mounting.
