I paid 100 euros for this on eBay.de in a Buy It Now! As soon as it was posted, I popped. What's funny is not even a couple of days went by before eBay removed the ended listing because of the swastika lol, so I couldn't even see it in my purchase history. Thankfully I beat eBay to the punch!

It finally arrived in the mail today directly from Germany. It says "Here Speaks the NSDAP - National Socialist German Workers' Party".

I've done some research on signs like this and other ones are the same width (65cm) but much taller with a lot of room on the bottom for dates/times/locations of NSDAP events to be written down with chalk? This leads me to believe what I have is only the top part of the sign and the rest was cut off, perhaps because of the roached condition on the bottom? Note there is no lip on the bottom edges.

I also suspect this sign to have been buried in the ground at some point because of the warping and what looks to be dirt ingrained with the rust, not to mention the severe decay of metal.

Part of me wants to straighten it out but from my experience with enamel signs, the porcelain will pop off when the metal flexes, so I'm going to leave it alone as it's not that big of a deal to me to have it flat and I don't want more porcelain chipping off. Let me know what you think!

Could you post close ups of the enamel especially where the white sort of rips are in it.

Agitorns is a nice original piece, but yours I would sadly think is a polish reproduction..

Good resource. What is weird about the eagle?

Unfortunately I left the sign at my parents' house and didn't take closeups of the enamel but I'll get to it next time I'm over!
