Luftwaffe Officer Statue

Hello,
I have collecting antiques from a while, but I am not an expert about military stuff. The statue present materials and finishing compatible with 40`s. Looking for your opinions about the statue propose (only ornamental or special gift). It shows a Luftwaffe Officer holding a propeller.

Any markings, around the pedestal, on a leg,....?

Is the hat painted gold?

Dear Raph, No marks at all. It is not painted, it seems electroplated, same type of finishing used in watch movements from that time. Tks
