Gents,
Some days ago, i bought this curious small silver plate trophy in my town flea market.
Based from the marking stamp, it's quist made. Yup, that factory which also produce that stahlhelm.
Interestingly, there's javanese alphabet and number etched on front of the trophy.
Right now, i'm still determining the exact age of this trophy. And the only clue is from the javanese number which is "1 8 6 9". This is denoting javanese year 1869 or 1938 AD. I think during that time, this trophy was given to civil servant or militaria subject in their service in the local native kingdom in here.
So is there anyone can help me in here? Is this trophy was made during 3rd reich era? Maybe someone know about trophy history judging from it's model or shape? Or maybe someone know the history about quist in making trophy?
Thank you.
PS: Thank you for larry c. in determining in where should i put this thread.
