Schwarzwälder Tagblatt enamel sign
Hello all,
This sign is for the Schwarzwälder Tagblatt, translated as Newspaper for the Black Forrest. It is enamel on iron and vaulted. It is the smaller of the two versions manufactured by Emaillierwerk F. Allgeier.-Triberg. This design is pictured on page 430 of "Wall Plaques and Official Office Signboards of Hitler's Third Reich 1933-1945".
It states "Accepting from buyers and advertisements here".
The sign is super clean and bright with only two areas with small chips with zero rust. My assumption is that it was never used outdoors and must have been stored inside for all these years.
Thanks for looking,
Hummel

Thank you guys.
Dekomaus, I will have to wait until I can take a pic in the sun light. Nothing is coming out in doors, photo wise. I did find a couple tiny rust spots on the back and the edging on the back.
Australia, you are correct. It appeared on WAF, to get opinions I presume, before it was sold by Butschek.

It states "Accepting from buyers and advertisements here".
I know I'm an old nit-picker, but allow me to remark that it is better translated as "Acceptance of subscriptions and advertisements here".

HPL2008: thanks fo the better translation. Maybe Hummel took it over from my book.
Yes, Mr Saris, most of my information on signs has come from your book.
I highly recommend this book to anyone with even the slightest interest in the subject of signs from this period of history.
