Soldier silhouette....What is this?

Hello everyone,
Can someone tell me what this is? It looks to me like once part of a plaque, maybe even a plaque-like award? It's heavily marked on the backside, like it was possalbly glued as opposed to being mounted or screwed. It's approx. 3 1/2" by 2 1/2," and has some weight to it. Could even be part of some post war hogwash. Anyway, I have no idea, anybody? Thanks in advance, and happy holidays!

I have one in my collection and don't believe it lacks detail at all. I think the pictures posted are poor and don't reflect the detail. It's a small piece that indeed measures 2.5 inches by 3 inches and was probably used on any number of Wehrmacht plaques or desktop mementos. It looks appropriately aged for a TR item . I tried taking a good picture of mine but the lighting is low at the moment. I provided one of my own photo's for another look

I took a few more photo's in natural light in order to show more detail. It actually has a nice patina that doesn't come through in the photo's. It was an inexpensive item I picked up on a reliable website which I believe to be authentic. I hope this helps. Al.
