Ss recruitment poster

Guys I picked this up local, not sure if it is a recruitment poster. It looks like many pieces of paper or thin cardboard pressed together to form somewhat of a solid piece. It seems almost like a painting or printing as I can feel it is somewhat textured and is not smooth like a piece of paper. I got this from an elderly gentleman who did not know much about it. I do not know much about it either. Pretty smelly old and stained but then again I do know that people make these things look old to appear like they are of wartime material and date. Any thoughts on this one? Please know any responses are greatly appreciated and I do thank you for them.

This is a reproduction/fake however you would call it. Its been done with an inkjet printer and when the scan has been made to print, it has washed out the contrast and sharpness. Its done on poster mounding board.
