Hi all! Friends, a big request to identify this figurine:

Statuette of a villager reading Mein Kampf

It is interesting to know whether it has anything to do with the period of the 3rd Reich or not, the figurine has the number H15, the material of manufacture is similar to bakelite or phenolic resin with sawdust. Thank you in advance for your help in identifying and providing additional information.

The figurine is not carved from wood, it is either pressed or cast, as there is a seam on the figure, the material is similar to bakelite

Regardless if period or not it's a cool figure.

The H15 is likely a model or mold number and not related to the RZM.

To my eye it looks like a resin figure perhaps cast from an original but crude Black Forest style carving.
It could be one of a pair of book ends.
The Mein Kampf could've been added afterwards and not be related to the original carving, it seems odd to be there in lieu of any other political symbolism so I have doubts over it being a period piece.

Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....
