Never seen a bugle in 20 years, so I need opinion on this one, is it worth buying?
Thanks for the comments...

Hello,
First let me say that I am not an expert, but from the photos It looks like it could be a British bugle with the eagle added on at some point (most likely in the past few years) however the bugle experts should be here soon to weigh in on this item as I could easily be wrong about its origins. Just trying to help.
Welcome to the forum
Regards,
Daniel
Without a doubt a modern fabrication. Someone has ruined a perfectly good bugle by tacking a fake SS eagle onto it. Note that it's been mounted at an angle to look more impressive when stood on a shelf, rather than in use, which is when the visual appeal of said eagle would have been the most important in the TR era.

Thanks for the answers... Highly appreciated...
How strange! The tube of the bugle has been wound on the opposite side to what you would normally expect. The bell end of a British bugle is brass, with the body made of copper, whereas a German bugle usually has white metal in the bell end, with the remainder made of brass.
Cheers,
Steve
Looks like an Indian fabrication, certainly not TR German.
