I would like an HONEST opinion - from an expert- if there is an expert here on Goring - to tell me whether this is a variation of Goring's coat of arms, or somebody else's coat of arms? It is very similar, but not exactly like the Goring coat of arms I see everywhere. Thank you in advance.

This reflects the "crest"(inner portion) from the complete coat of arms which is often seen on Gorings silver plates etc.

Here is a crest I KNOW is Goring's (on the left), and then there is mine. They are different.

There are many variations to gorings crest design for example on his seal rings to his silverwear - go on Google under Herman Gorings coat of arms and you will see an array of designs - the basic emblem ( arm holding ring) does prevail but there are many small variations.
