WWII German plane tail? part with swastika

I recently found this item for sale, and would like to hear everyone's opinion on it. It appears to be a plane tail with swastika.

The arms of the swastika look a little too close together to be from the tail of a plane.
Did some digging, and found this period image. Seems to be a guide to the proper proportions of a swastika as applied to aircraft.
