I was at a local shop Monday and the owner asked if I wanted this box of old foreign currency and powder flask. I took a chance seeing that he made me an offer that was very very cheap . I was very happy to find the invasion money. The coins are from all over the world from late 1960's to 1800's . Still going through the box lots of WW1 British coins. Gary

    Nice find.
I think GIs brought home souvenir money from every place they went.
Now there are folks that collect it.
    You did well.

A nice powder flask, the only difference i see is the "Nipple" or spout which may have been re worked or adapted for different calibre rifles and the rings around the neck.. looks very similar though.. G
