Just found this disk in a market in Afghanistan...
so probably is fake!
I really don't know what is...a dog tag, an ammunition box seal...
english, russian...
I only know that cost me less than a coffee!
Any guess?

i amy be wrong here but it looks like a proof of calibration disc from a fuel injection pump for a us gmc truck dated the 4/84
cheers ian
the top number which i cant make out would be the work shop number
and the m56 is the type of truck
alater modle duce an half with a diesel engine some of which are still in use with the us army
cheers again ian
oh and becouse it has gmc stamped on it that means it would be a gmc work shop in the us where the calibration was done
it was probably a new pump rather than a refurbished one
Thanks ian,
very good explanation...
it is not what I thought..but at least is original! ahahaha
Davide
well if im right about this disc the only other question is what was it doing in afganistan ?
i dont supose that will ever be answered
cheers ian
It is probably comes with the GI's...
