Dumpster Diver Find

This was found in a cigar box along with other bring-backs in a dumpster along with the service mans uniform and some docs. Passed on to me by an associate.

Unfortunately not, as the uniform was kept by another and the other items in the cigar box were non military related.

It's a shame someone went and trashed it. Who knows what else got lost.

I ageee, it's a shame that someone juse tossed this and other items.

This seems to me to be a very early two piece construction piece. I may be wrong but I beleve that early on General Officers wore two piece cap badges?
