I’m backkkkkk!
I’m backkkkkk!
Here’s a quick update for those of you wondering where I’ve been…
I was teaching high school until August 2012 when I transitioned to college residential education. I was with a local college in that capacity until this past August. It was a full time job with on-call, live-on (my wife and I had to live in a dorm surrounded by hundreds of students!) and overnight emergency response responsibilities. Because of this, my free time was limited and I was unable to work at the family recycling facility. This academic year, I accepted a new position at the same local college working with students who have learning differences. I now work 9a-5p everyday with no late night emergencies and have summers off. My wife and I also bought our first home and adopted a bulldog! Naturally, I’ve started up at the family business and in two weeks on the job, I’ve already found the 7 helmets I posted above (WWI German, WWI American, WWI French, WWI German, mystery Brodie, 2 Vietnam era M1 steel pots.) I put up a sign outside of my office and I’ve had numerous leads. I really miss this community so I will do my best to be more active here!
HOPE EVERYONE IS WELL!
Really great to see you back. You were not forgotten. In fact I was just looking through this thread not too long ago.
Always thought of finding this "recycling center" ever time I hop on the Taconic to go upstate! LoL
Some cool finds! Congrats on the house and Dog too!
"Please", Thank You" and proper manners appreciated
My greatest fear is that one day I will die and my wife will sell my guns for what I told her I paid for them

Hey Joe ( there's that song again )
Great to have you back! If you recall the 'mulch' beaded M40, it has a new caretaker here in Australia. My years with it were enjoyable but time to share the love....
All the best,
Dan
