You'd be surprised what treasure people throw out... Beyond militaria, recently we have gotten antique furniture, neon signs, an airplane fuselage, power tools galore, snow blowers, and brand new bikes.

Two kittens were also thrown out. My family has since adopted them!

Rabbitface asked to see pics of some of the other things of value that we have found in the trash recently. I normally take pictures of some of the crazy things and send them to friends, but I have either deleted them from my current phone, or they are on my old phone which has been deactivated.

Here are pics of things that we've rescued recently (Most things look dirty from sitting in the trash heap. Most clean up very well!):

Two kittens which we have adopted and are now a lot larger/ adult cats.

A BBQ

An anqitue rocking chair, some weed whackers, air conditioners and a chest freezer.

An F-14 Tomcat pinball game and a mini scooter.

A heavy duty generator and some washing machines.

Finally, tons and tons of lawn mowers, snow blowers, etc.

Don't worry, we adopted them and they're safe and sound at my house! The white/ tiger stripe cat is napping right next to me, in fact!

I feel bad to have not saved pictures of the more exciting stuff. If my old phone still has a charge, I can only look on it and try to save any pics that might be there on a memory card...

the heavey duty generator could be worth quite a bit at least 500 to 1000 if it works and the washers look like laundry mat washers is they run 300 a piece Great finds great finds
