Here is a small box lot I picked a little while back and finally was in a mood to rearrange some things in the war room room and had time to take a picture. The G.A.R. and Odd Fellows ribbons are certainly unique and have a collector following all unto their own.

Thank you! The medal is from the 25th Annual Encampment August 3rd, 1891 in Detroit.
WOW! the defenders of liberty are back and not forgotten! great. even after they are all just pictures in an album, maby that there encampement ribbons are still with us!. who were the people that saved all of them? great hat they did!.

Here is another seemingly unassuming find. Maybe it was the Veteran or family member making a humorous statement with pinning his service medals and ribbons to the reverse of a "Have a Happy Day" banner. None the less, pure gold. LOL
