Great War Horse Breast Harness

Hello Gents


Heres this weeks find, Shire related as those who know me may have known...and great war.

Its a piece of Brest harness, given to me by a local farmer who cant remember how it came to the farm, just remembers it beeing there. He's looking for the rest soon...I better pay him the pint I owe him for this piece first. Dated and crows foot marked 1918


Im hoping to use it in a display with my Shire Monty at a charity event held at my local riding school, I did a victorian farm theme with him last year as that tv programme was all the rage, this year Ill chip in to Speilbergs war horse with a small display of horses in the great war.

Hope its of interest, if I get the rest Ill post it.

The piece can be seen in the c/w photo as it goes below the horses neck to push against.

Deffinately a barn find
