Found these ww1 british medals this morning and military marked watch same period.They are named 2 Lieut.T.Barrett but nothing else do you think id be able to research him easy? did they not put officers regiments on to the medals only non officers?

Thats the only 2lt Barrett listed on CWGC so theres a good chance he survived the war. Is his service number on the medals? If so ill see if i can find his medal card.

Ive just done a search of the National Archives Medal Card records and there is only 1 T Barrett listed of that rank...could be your man!
