Picked this nice little mixed lot lot up from a local auction on Saturday for only £50.
1853 pattern Enfield socket bayonet including frog and scabbard - it needs a good clean up and leatherwork needs feeding but in pretty good condition,
Webley open holster with a 1940 date stamp.
Nice '42 dated 17pr shell case that needs a good clean.
Couple of WW1 trench art pieces, one is inscribed with the date 1919 and Peronne, a village very near to the Somme.
Civil defence tin hat dated '41
Some modern (1980's) French 12.7mm cartridges in a belt.
All in all, well worth £50 I think and always nice to pickup a bit of bargain. I didn't actually attend the auction in case I got carried away with the bidding but just put in a low absentee bid and waited to see what happened
