Spanish sword dated 1854 (Spanish American war??)

Not common to find over here in a house clearing.
A Spanish sword dated 1854 and made in Toledo.
Found a similar one on the net, claiming it being Spanish American wars...! ??
Not sure this one ever crossed the pound...!?
