    I don’t know much about gestapo stuff but this looks like just a common leather over coat for the civilian market. Especially with the plaid lining

    I agree, the lining doesn't look typically Germanic. In the first half of the 20th century this type of leather coat was popular with motorcyclists and drivers of open top cars.
