Just "found" this in a cubby-hole and quite happy with it too (I'm easily pleased ).

No idea how I got it, or when I've got it??

    I think it's a WW1 bullet trench art plane.

Quite a odd looking thing, looks like a bat.

    Is it British or German?

C'mon chaps, please give your opinions on this World shattering "find".

I like it, looks like it had a tailplane and rudder at one point.

I wonder if some one could repair it for me..

Just noticed the round it's made from, it's not British.

I wonder if it's supposed to be a model of this, a Rumpler Taube?

I think the "style" is German, that's researching trench art planes ww1.

Also, I wonder (again ) if the hole in the middle, would have had another piece added to it

Already got some one to add a tail plane to it, sling back elevators I think would suit it.

They agree with the "Taube" style matey, cheers Gunny.

Should be a nice and interesting restoration project.

It was in a old box about to be chucked out

Great find, looks like Mauser Tank-Gewehr round, 13.2 mm, if the prop unscrews it would give more info.

The fourth picture from the top, has two little holes underneath.

German is my guess as well.
