Because of monetary reasons I did not jump on it, but I found several Ike jackets. One really caught my eye, it had an Airborne troop carrier patch Sgt. stripes and a ruptured duck. I also found some service shirts. I picked up a good condition early M51 jacket and the Ikes show up all the time. Is it strange that a ton of WW2 stuff is always sitting at my feet or is that common at thrift shops?

I'd go back and get that troop carried Ike Jacket if it's a good price.

Don't forget...Halloween is coming soon. Old uniforms and stuff always show up in thrift shops this time of year. The idiots sell them to kids for costumes....

Very true, William although, I mostly see BDU jackets from the 1980's being sold.

Thrift stores actually hang on to military stuff, building up
stock to sell as costumes for Halloween.........!

Well another collector actually waked out with it an hour ago so I missed my chance but there are like 10 of them some with and without patches but how much would it be worth?
