Here are two photos of same soldier, one wearing one star on collar and the other two. I suppose its second Lt and Lt rank
Can anyone tell what the medal is on the larger photo?

Left one should be corporal.Right one Kadet Offizier Stelvetreter.

Thank you....and what is the significance of the lanyard wrapped around the neck ?

IMO it´s always the same man.
No inscription on the backside of any image / photo ?

The last photo is mostly Officer cap, could be a service duty lanyard .
