    Very Nice display!
    I like bullion work on the cockard on that cap.
    What does the K cap button stand for on the other cap

    hi Phil, the K is for Karl. He became the Emperor after Franz Joseph died in Nov 1916. he was next in line after Franz Ferdinand was assassinated. little known fact was that the blood line had been ended when Franz Joseph's son sadly had ended his own life. Cheers Tony

    both caps have a K on the cockade BTW.

    Though I have never ventured over to the Austro-Hungarian side of Militaria collecting, seeing your collection makes it very tempting to say the least! I love your display and thank you for sharing it!
