nice piece.... IMO im guessing that the portrait motif at the base of the neck is Emperor 'Karl' and if so, i date this piece as being made 1917 onwards, i would also guess that the makers initials are 'A.L.'.... and that he was likely to be either a Bosniak or Serb member of the KuK , as the portriat on the rear is of 'Balken muslim' appearence, the lettering below looks cyrillic to me.
