Well here is a neat Zeppelin bit I traded for this weekend.
It is correct as I have handled a few of this sort of bit before, dura alum. shows a bit of burn on it.
The L 33 was damaged on Sept 23 1916 by A/A fire, then attacked by 39 Home Defence Squardon and shot down.
Most if not all of the crew survived..a really neat and "clean" item, this one is going into my collection!
It is poorly engraved as shown in the photos
