    Default Help with Scarf

Hello All, I hope you are all well and surviving all the weather and other nonsense I recently came across this scarf and thought I would post to get some feedback as I know what is supposed to represent... but Have no clue if it was a typical souvenir for servicemen? or perhaps tourists? It does not react to black light and comes from a friend in Alexandria Louisiana. Any thoughts or opinions are welcome!

    Geoff,

Just linking your other thread. Will leave it up to the Mod of this forum if he want's to combine them

    Interesting Scarf

As I noted in the other thread, this is Chinese not Japanese and my wife sees no "word/Character" hidden in the flower. Just a flower.

And the visible characters is what is written in English. "China 1944".

A nice CBI scarf. I like it a lot!
"Please", Thank You" and proper manners appreciated

My greatest fear is that one day I will die and my wife will sell my guns for what I told her I paid for them
