    What it's all about. Respect.

'I do not think we can hope for any better thing now.
We shall stick it out to the end, but we are getting weaker of course, and the end cannot be far.
It seems a pity, but I do not think I can write more. R. SCOTT.
Last Entry - For God's sake look after our people.'

In memory of Capt. Robert Falcon Scott, Edward Wilson, Henry Bowers, Lawrence Oates and Edgar Evans. South Pole Expedition, 30th March 1912.

Thanks Ned. That bought a tear to my eye's.
I was in charge of Rag's burial detail. The hardest thing I had to do was present the flag to his mother and give her our heart felt condolences for her loss with out shedding a tear.

I cried like a bitch after the ceremony. I hate hearing taps. I've heard it to many times.

I completely understand. My bestfriend's funeral was a full flag ceremony and I
stood with the family as Jeff's mother completely fell apart. From that day on
hearing Taps has been a very emotional thing for me.

God bless all of those in uniform who have gone before us.
