This is a picture of the Fiorette Crew In March of 44. On April 13th 1944, 4 of these men would die in an attack by ME109's on their B17 "Mrs Geezil" while on a mission to bomb the Schweinfurt ball bearing factories .

This is a list of all the men from the 384th Bomb Group who also made the ultimate sacrifice that day.
This is one of my friends who was a Air Traffic Control Radar Tech, Who found out that EOD was making BIG money and wanted some of it. The true price was he gave his life in service to our Great Country.

In memory of Capt. Robert Falcon Scott, Edward Wilson, Henry Bowers, Lawrence Oates and Edgar Evans. South Pole Expedition, 30th March 1912.
I went to our local cemetery today for the Memorial day flag ceremony
and the reading of the roll call of our vets buried there. I go to honor my
friend and neighbor for 30 years TSGT Owen Mobley (3rd Army ww2)
and Airman Jeffery Anderson. One of my best friends during high school who
died in a car accident while home on leave on the night of his 21st birthday.
RIP my friends.
