Default RAF 1944 150 octane Gerry can colour

I recently picked up a 1944 dated Gerry can which had a ‘grade 150 av’ tag attached to the handle (150 octane fuel was introduced in May 1944 for use in Spitfire MkIX). But it has been overpainted black with the shell logo. Does anyone know if RAF Gerry cans were just the standard green or RAF blue?

    Many thanks, Dave

It’s ok, answered my own question by removing some of the black paint, it was green!
