Speaking of which.. I love his cameo in the film - as the old barkeep, eyeing up Jeff Goldblum and Harry Shearer’s characters as they slag off.. Chuck Yeager!

I was always fascinated by their exploits when I was young.

I agree, quite the remarkable individual, I have some nice material from him in my autograph archive. Of course whether or not Dittmar beat him to the punch with the ME163 is open to conjecture.
