The dirk was introduced by Order No. 245 of August 29, 1905.
The early dirks are with engraved blades. The dirk is 384 mm long, and with the scabbard is 397 mm.

Later, probably for economic reasons, the blades of the daggers are plaine.
LOA with the scabbard is 348 mm., and only the dirk is 337 mm long
AIR FORCE Dagger Model 1930
The dagger of Air Force Corps was introduced in 1930 by order of the Director of Aviation № 157 / 8.10.1930.
The main dagger producer is Eickhorn. The dagger with the scabbard is 30.3 cm long and the dagger alone is 24.7 cm long.
Extremely rare is the dagger produced by Forster Solingen. The dagger with the scabbard is 30,5 cm in length, and the dagger alone is 24,6 cm. At first glance, it doesn’t differ from the daggers produced by Eickhorn, but there are actually a few significant differences.
Later, most probably due to economic reasons the daggers are produced with a plaine blade. No master’s marks on the blade.

ARMY OFFICER DAGGER model 1936
Officially, the dagger of the Bulgarian army was adopted by Decree No 22 of November 8, 1936.
The dagger with the scabbard has a length of 40.7 cm , and only the dagger is 38.2 cm long.
Robert Klaas dagger
The more common dagger with its scabbard has a length of 40.6 cm, and the dagger alone is
37.9 cm long. No master’s marks on the blade.
LABOR CORP DAGGER
The dagger produced by Puma Solingen with the scabbard is 30.3 cm long and the dagger alone is 24.7 cm long. On one side is the logo of the manufacturer, and on the other - the monogram of King Boris III.
The dagger produced by B.M. Kerestedjiev has LOA 41 sm and dagger only 39 sm. The crossguard and the blade are marked.
