Default Identification needed on cloth wings

    Hello All,
this week I received a collection of memorabilia that belonged to an Eastern volunteer who resided here during the last war.
I have received all the decorations that he had except sadly the ostvolk order in silver.

There was this small cloth badge below in amongst the collection.

The wings measure around 2 1/4 inches wide and carry the colours of Italy, Hungary, Bulgaria?
I have scoured both my reference books and the web but can't find anything similar.
The back is just covered in black cloth but I was unable to get a decent picture due to failing light

Has anybody any idea? Any help appreciated

    Doug

    That's interesting black cat
Is it the one odd pair that was listed on eBay some time ago that you are referring to?
    I spotted them on google
If it turns out that they really are brownie wings perhaps the Old volunteer joined the scouting and guiding movement before hiding his/her badges

Have you got any more details so that I can put this badge to rest?

    Cheers
    Doug
