italian medic canteen?

Hello,

Does somebody know what kind of canteen this is? Looks like a medic canteen from the Italian forces. I have never seen this model before. Genuine ww2 or postwar?

Hi Bundeswehr, the ww2 canteens all have the grey-green cloth. It can therefore be said that it is post-war. However, it is a beautiful piece, uncommon, which always has its charm.
