From what I can see it look comparable to others I have seen online. I think is can see the designers name between the feet. But will add, it's not an award I study. Just what I've quickly looked at.
An interesting award. If it was me, I would wait to get one with an original ribbon.

I see no issue with this one, like most Italian medals, made with very soft metal so they could get that usual brown deep crisp finish on the colour and details. It is usual to see the rim sort of dented and worn a little.
Nice award, the Italians made a few for the Spanish conflict.
