I have this photo of Latvian soldier from interwar period. If I see good he's from pioneer/sapper unit. But my question is if someone can identify his badge? Would be thankful for help!

Yes, it's badge of a Pioneer unit. Can't go into details as it's not my area but from the little I know these are regimental badges.
