Pre-ww2 Czech Kit, Photo References & Advice Needed
Hello everyone,
I've become interested in collecting Czechoslovak militaria and have gained a fair amount of knowledge doing my own research on kit designations and the like. Now I am reaching out to the community for more info: the questions I have I will ask directly in this post, but feel free to share what else you know.
- The biggest gap in understanding, to my knowledge, is the footwear. I have gathered they are designated Vz. 24 and 28, but I haven't the slightest clue what they look like. Photos of a pair or two would help greatly!
- Webgear and kit: I see many photos of Czechoslovak soldiers with full kits on their backs, a noteable example would be those of the men with their ZB-26 MG. Does anybody have experience with putting these kits together for display?
I would also appreciate any and all information that can be passed on. I am not infallible and welcome information on where to source original pieces, what to look out for to identify repros, manufacturer differences if applicable.

Splendid! They charge a pretty penny for those shoes, but are well worth it I am sure. Thank you for the link!

Yes, it's worth it, it's handmade. I also had one on Reenacting WW2.
