Spanish Civil War Republican Army Cap

Here is an interesting cap I just added to my Spanish civil war collection, a Republican Army Carabiners side cap as worn by the Popular Front that fought against Franco and the Nationalists. The cap is in good condition except for few moth nips and a tear on the back. It retains it's nice bluish green color not unlike the German Polizei caps. The communist star and and carabiner badge are securely fastened and look original to the cap. I took out some of my other Spanish civil war caps for a photo shoot. Thank you Miguel. My wife's family is from Asturias and I fell in love with your country and the culture. If I had no ties here I would certainly consider living there. The history is rich, the people are magnificent and the culture and entertainment are superb. My only regret on my visit several years ago is that the military museum in Madrid had closed. I did manage to see the Military on display at the palace. I look forward to more trips in the future.
