Fantastic uniform and loose insignias. Very interesting pieces!
Thank you so much for sharing these rare pieces with us all.
Wonderful! Absolutly wonderful pieces!
May i ask how long time you have been collecting these pieces?
Here is also a nice jacket in interesting cloth. Don Cossack, Rank of Essaul. This has the silverstripe over the shield.
Another very precious jacket in my humble pile of old uniforms from these partly forgotten soldiers.
I collect about 25 years or even more. I am not certain when I started collecting. In the beginning I had english, american and german uniforms. Slowly changed all to differant countries such as finland, hungary and russia. Then at a certain time I got a jacket from a russian volunteers in the wehrmacht and that was the beginning of my volunteer collection. Some years ago I sold about all my english, american and almost all german uniforms. Only kept the volunteers, finland and hungarian uniforms.
Nice Don cossack jacket.
Of interest is the rank. Did not see such a high rank yet (I believe a Hauptmann) on a dutch converted jacket.
On most original pictures the officers almost always wear a german uniform jacket, of course where the officers in most cases germans or baltic germans from the regular german army.
That's why this one can be very interesting.
This time only a small ID tag :

Interesting Tag.
When i see these personal items i always wonder if the owner made it. Or if he was killed in action, executed right after capture- or tortured to death in a nameless Gulag.
