May i ask if any of you collectors out there has original ww2 pants for ROA or Cossack in your collections?

It seems to be easier to find chicken teeths then such pieces of militaria.

I'm sure they are out there but I have never seen any for sale. I wish you luck in your quest.

For the most part they would wear standard German issue kit with no differences. Or former Soviet kit.

There was however, one special uniform made for Osttruppen. It was a grey/blue shade. Made from old stocks of French made cloth. I have only ever seen a couple. It was a hybrid German + Soviet Gym style of tunic with trousers.

    Cheers, Ade.

To illustrate the tunic I mention above. NOT mine, but it belongs to a friend Gerard. Photo credit to him.

Thank you very much for the answer guys. I have seen photos of this "blue" tunic before, its a most interesting piece of history in my eyes.
The pants i thought they were using was the one with a colored stripe. But like i said i have not found one (original)

    Hello,
Maybe a very late answer but I didn't see this post before.
I have a collection of ''Osttruppen'' uniforms, gear, weapons etc.
I also have a cossack pants made from dark black wool with a red stripe on the side. It is converted from a dutch ww2 uniform.
Below is a picture of the cossack pants.

    Very interesting Frei.
It is never to late to recieve an important answer. I would love to see some detailed photos of these pants.

I am only focusing on this "Eastern Volunteer" part of the ww2 history, so every detail i can study is highly valued for me.

No problem, I will take some detailed pictures of the pants.
For now an old picture from several years ago. A untouched dutch converted ROA jacket.

Here are some pictures of the cossack pants. I told you before that it is from a converted dutch pants but now when I see it again I believe it is an Original russian pants.
One of the inside pockets seems to be repaired with a lighter part of cotton.
