That medal was issued to Spanish volunteer soldiers who served on the Russian front. It's actually a German issued medal. The Spanish also produced a slightly different version of the same medal for replacement, etc.
The one on the left in zinc is German made/issued, the right is Spanish made,
distinguishable by the clasp if it's present and the ball ring vs the regular loop ring
The styles are also slightly different. Notice the shape of the helmet and lack of "decal" on the right.
Also the eagles, swastika's and shields are different
On the rear the laurel / oak leaves lack acorns on the left
and the EK and letter fonts are different
Here are some more photo's, two on the left are German made
Based on those characteristics, the one you posted is presumably
a zinc German issued medal that retains a heavy silver wash
