Thanks Jack ,the larger size is quite bulbous where as the medium size example seems proportionate and in my opinion more pleasing to the eye

Yes James also less of a target, the leather 9 tongues cradle from that large Kaska 1M seemed out of place in a modern helmet.

Thanks Jack and i have made sure to bookmark the informative link , regarding the leather liner i agree it does seem out of place especially considering manufactured around 10 years or so ago

It was probably a comfortable liner but expensive to manufacture specially whith the conflict expanding in 2014 in the Donbas region.
