Austrian trials /test Composite helmets
Just wanted to share an example of one of the ballistic test /trials helmets Austria developed but never fully adopted back in the early to mid 1980's ,the rounds of ammunition have entered the exterior moulded plastic but were stopped by the aramid ballistic weave although one round did pass through exiting the inner liner

Example number two ,the test date of 1983 has been added in chalk across the exterior and an ID tag string has been threaded through a hole drilled in the front brim but unfortunately the label has long since detached
