Very nice acquisition sleepwalker and the unique snakeskin camouflage scheme applied is a work of art ,thanks for sharing
Out of curiosity can i ask about the liner retaining bolts as i notice the heads are elongated ,do you happen to know if this is a trait of the Schuberth manufactured examples as i have a Belgian Shuberth Helme 2 M95 and this has the same rivet head retainers
Very nice helmet, S., congrats!
Do you have information about the former wearer/owner of the helmet and where the soldier was deployed?
For comparison, another Bundeswehr Sprunggefechtshelm / Sprunghelm :

The elongated liner retaining bolts heads, (not the round ones with a hole), are ballistic screws.
It was probably determined that the others are a weak point when hitting.
In the course of overhauling older helmets, the "old" round ones were gradually exchanged for the longer ones, thereby improving the protective effect of the helmet.
Colleague Sleepwalker can certainly add or contribute something with his specialist knowledge.
For cpmparison, another Sprunggefechtshelm der Bundeswehr, "served" in Afghanistan:
