But, looking at the lid it's similar, if not the same as, the old Yugo Compo with the sticker on the front (that's not an official designation)....in fact, can I say "old Yugo" nowadays???

    Anyway....

I'll give you some luv Ade. Just because it looks like a distant relative of a German helmet

    A nice looking helmet! Congrats
"Please", Thank You" and proper manners appreciated

Very Nice Example Ade and Looks Very similar in profile to the Yugoslav M89, In this livery can we presume these saw use post 1995 onwards and i wonder if these are still in present day use perhaps at military reserve level ,The Burning question is whether there is a Camo cover for these allthough if so it would be a shame to cover up such striking Decals ,My Yugo M89 seems to struggle to hold onto the paint finish and so can easily be chipped if not handled with care but this Macedonian Example looks of sterner stuff with it's textured finish
    Thanks for posting up

Sorry for the late reply but this is indeed a Yugoslav M89 just repainted.
These were used heavily during the 2001 Insurgency in Macedonia.

    Pretty rare
