SOUTH KOREAN M76
South Korean helmet produced by Daewoo company. It is made of a ballistic fibre. This helmet has been exported in many countries including Irak (aka M80) where it has been used in the two Gulf Wars

That is one ugly camo cover. Very interesting look of the whole thing, though.
Hi BG, very nice to see the original ROK version of this Helmet, are there any other distinct differences than this one to the version that was exported to the Middle East apart from the clip on chinstrap?. I particularly like the Mitchell style style cover ,a very interesting piece indeed

This photo dates from around Oct 2014 , showing South Korean Coast Guard wearing naval grey or shipboard grey M80 style helmets with M73 US type web chin cup chin straps
looks like these helmets are still in use today.
