Rare para FG42 ?
LS
It's a Bren or the same family I'm sure. Interesting find though.

Hi
Personally, I would say Brengun mk.2 or ZGB-33.
These relic-weapons, is going to be taken care of by the local museum.
...so perhaps, we get the answer later.

Great find and it looks similar to a ZB to me!...
Not a ZB, none of the ZB guns look quite like that. Its a Bren Mk 2 without barrel and bipod. It looks to be a Canadian Inglis made gun rather than a British Daimler. I wonder if these are resistence guns hidden under the Germans nose.

Good to know they are not simply going to be destroyed.
What an exciting find -
I zoomed in the best I could on the firearm on the far right - it looks very like a ZB26/30 -
A pic of my ZB26 for reference is below -
Except that the length of the lower receiver seems to be the longer type used by the Bren, were the ZB lower receiver section is stubby, just the gas tube unprotected beneath the barrel - but tough to tell.
I'm inclined to think it is a Bren not a Mg/Zb26/30t
That said my eye sight combined with the rust and degradation of the pictured example is not to be trusted.
The only fact is, that I would like to examine and help restore these finds in person
Did German's ever use Brens?
(Yes, I know it's a famous pic, posed probably...)
The firearm to the left of the center MG42 looks interesting - too.
