    Default Blown up Shell.

I don't know what type this shell case is, I can't see any markings or stamps.

The bottom piece is missing sadly.

Nice and rusty, so I'm going to give it a good clean up.

Pictures show it with a thick coating of rust remover.

It's going to need quite a few coats to get the deep rust under control.

It's very sharp in places and after so many years in the ground, I think it deserves some TLC.

I'm curious to see what it looks like after you've put the work into it. Be sure to post pictures, please.

I'm not convinced that its a shell. The relatively undamaged end appears to be flared and threaded.

I was thinking.. why the rifling is on the inside?

Well, I'm delighted that it's a Katyusha rocket (if correct?).

Many thanks chaps, always wanted a Katyusha rocket!

    Is it WW2?

Any body got pictures of a real one?

    Or even another blown one?
